“How do we tell what we do for the internet in the Netherlands, for consumers, professionals, privacy, financial safety, etc.? And how do we do this without going into detail and only speaking to people who already know?”

I decided it would be best to get our creative juices going. Creating four very different concepts helped to narrow down where the client would be happiest. Eventually, we made a video where we had different storylines flowing together:

First, we have a presenter simply explaining the internet and SIDN.

Second, we have the visual story as a metaphor for how data online works: you send a package of data, and you get one.

Third, we wanted to show how data travels online, how it passes different stations, and how good direction and safety help you to get what you need as you are online.

Since space and time were of the essence, we worked with a minimal crew during two days of filming. Camera and staging were strong aspects of the concept and eventually translated great in the edit.

The result is a video that's enjoyable to watch while providing some key information about the work of SIDN.
